A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI'PY OF
LYNWOOD ACCEPTING THE RECONSTRUCTION OF ELMWOOD
AVENUE VIRGINIA AVENUE PROJECT
WHEREAS, on February 2, 1988, the City Council authorized
staff to obtain informal bids for the Reconstruction Project;
and
WHEREAS, a purchase order contract was issued to Sully
Miller Contracting Company of Long Beach, the lowest responsible
bidder; and
WHEREAS, the construction was started on February 8,
1988, and completed on February 11, 1988.
WHEREAS, staff inspected the project and found that it
was complete in accordance with plans and specifications; and
WHEREAS, the final construction cost is $12,522.95.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City of Lynwood accept the
Reconstruction of Elmwood Avenue and Virginia Avenue Project as
being completed in accordance with contract documents.
Section 2. This resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 1st day of
March 1988.
