RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT
FOR LAND SURVEYING AND DRAFTING SERVICES WITH A.W.R LAND
SURVEYING- JOHN STREET PARK IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of specialized land surveymg and
drafting services with regard to John Street Park Improvements; and
WHEREAS, A.WK Land Surveying, 268 Second St., South Amboy, N.J. 08879,
possesses the requisite experience and expertise to provide said services; and
WHEREAS, A.W.R. Land Surveying has submitted a proposal to provide said services
at a total cost not to exceed $3,500.00; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have reviewed said proposal;
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be available
for said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
ofCarteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. That the proposal from A.W.R. Land Surveying for 1and surveying
and drafting services related to John Street Park Improvements at a
total cost not to exceed $3,500.00 is hereby approved.
2. This action is approved as an award of a professional serVices
contract pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-5(l)(a);
3. That a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Borough's
Purchasing Department and A. W.R. Land Surveying Associates.
Adopted this 16th day of December, 2004
and certified as a true copy of the original on
December 17, 2004.
