A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD APPROVING THE Ah1ENDMENT TO UTILITY
AGREEMENT NO. 7UT-10,357
WHEREAS, the City of L,vnwood entered into Utility
Agreement No. 7UT-10,357 with Caltra,ns dated September 16, ].986,
for the relocation of its Water facilities between Alameda
Street and Fir Street to accommodate the construction of
the Route 105 Freeway; and
WHEREAS, the estimated cost to State was $520,000 as set
forth in said Agreement; and
WHEREAS, in the preparation of the Agreement, a. portion
of the costs over and above those estimated at the time of the
execution of said Agreement were incurred because of increased
costs due to changes cuased by utility conflicts; and.
WHEREAS, when the recorded costs exceed 'the estimated
amount set forth in a Utility Agreement by 25% or more, said
Agreement must be amended to show the revised cost of the work to
State; and
WHEREAS, by reason of the increased costs refec•red to
above the revised estimated cost to State is now $6f>0,000.00
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council approve the amendment to
Utility Agreement No. 7UT-10,357.
Section 2. This resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 1st day of
