Bill Luebbert, Electrical Inspector
The Electrical Board of Examiners and Review met July 21, 2020, in the Small Conference Room
of the John G. Christy Municipal Building. The meeting was called to order by
Bill Luebbert at 4:15 p.m. A quorum was present.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM January 7, 2020 MEETING
A motion was made by Jim Gooch and seconded by Fred Gladbach to approve the minutes of
the January 7, 2020 meeting. Motion passed by show of hands.
A motion to approve the minutes of the March 3, 2020 meeting was not necessary. To follow
the City Counsel's request of all City Boards, the Board of Electrical Examiners and Review
meeting was rescheduled to July 21, (before a March meeting notice was distributed), in an
effort to adhere to COVID19 safety restrictions and social distancing recommendations for the
city and state.
REVIEW EXAM TESTING APPLICATIONS
• A motion was made by Joel Vanderslice and seconded by Fred Gladbach to approve
Chris Russell to take the Master Electrician Exam. Motion passed by a show of hands.
• A motion was made by Joel Vanderslice and seconded by Fred Gladbach to approve
David Murphy to take the Journeyman Electrician Exam. Motion was denied by a show
of hands.

REVIEW LICENSE APPLICATIONS

• A motion was made by Joel Vanderslice and seconded by Jim Gooch to approve Brian
Monahan to receive his Journeyman Electrician License. Motion passed by show of
hands.
• A motion was made by Fred Gladbach and seconded by Jim Gooch to approve Thomas
Davis to receive his Journeyman Electrician License. Motion passed by show of hands.
OLD BUSINESS
• None
NEW BUSINESS
• Members reviewed and signed a letter to the Director of Planning & Protective Services,
regarding their desire to have trade representation on the interview panel for the
current job position opening for the City Building Official .
SCHEDULE NEXT MEETING
The Electrical Review Board's next meeting will be Thursday, August 13, 2020. Board Members
shall meet at 4:00 p.m. in the small conference room (aka Thomas Jefferson Conference Room).

With no other business, the Board of Electrical Examiners and Review Meeting adjourned at
4:50 p.m.
