Wayne Neddermeyer - Mayor in Chair Priscilla Arens - Clerk All Members present. Tuesday, The minutes of the regular meeting of September 3, 1968 read. Moved by Raymond Bosch that the minutes be approved as read. Seconded by Arthur Theis. Motion carried. The minutes of the special meeting of September 11, 1968 read. Moved by Rayburn Anderson that the minutes be approved as read. Seconded by Harold Winterhalter. Motion carried. The minutes of the special meeting of September 19, 1968 read. Moved by Harold Ninterhalter that the minutes be approved as read. Seconded by Raymond Bosch. Motion carried. The Planning Commission minutes of September 16th read. Mr. Gubbins showed on a map the exact location of the cartway from #101 to Brookview Country Club. 8:00 P. M. The bids for improving the were opened as follows: Western Concrete Products Buffalo Bituminous Moved by Harold Winterhalter that we accept Products and Buffalo Bituminous and that we council meeting can be set. Seconded by Raymond Bosch Motion carried. cartway from #101 to Brookview $18,081.00 14,230.00 the bids from Western Concrete table action until a special Fred Vant Hull appeared Aki.th regard to acceptance of road into his place. Moved by Harold Winterhalter that we accept the deed from Fred Vant Hull, Muriel Vant Hull, Charles Brantinghim and Marjorie C. Brantingham for the road known as the Vant Hull road and Mt the Village take over the care and maintenance of this road subject to the approval of the legal description by the Village Attorney. Seconded by Rayburn Anderson Motion carried. Duane Smith appeared with regard to building a house on two acres of a twenty acre plot of which 18 acres will be on contract for deed. He is to see his Attorney who will consult with Mr. Gubbins. Henry Ruter appeared with regard to building a boat house and was referred to the building inspector. The proposed budget was studied. Moved by Rayburn Anderson to adopt the budget for 1969 as amended to reduce the Equipment Purchase from $5000.00 to $$1000.00/ Seconded,by Raymond Bosch. Letter from Hennepin County with regard to procedure when new plats are on a county or state highway. Moved by Arthur The that we renew the contract with the Suburban Hennepin County Nursing seriice. Seconded by Harold Winterhalter Motion carried. (A11 five members voted "yes") Moved by Raymond Bosch that we pay the Suburban Hennepin County Nursing Service $607.11. Seconded by Arthur Theis Motion carried. Announcement of Hennepin County League of Municipalities meeting to be held October 3, 1968 at the Golden Valley Village Hall. A letter from the Northwest Chamber of Commerce asking for a monthly report on the sewer and water project. Harold Winterhalter will furnish same. Don Des Lauriers appeared with regard to multiple dwelling. Moved by Rayburn • Anderson that we classifythe Des Lauriers property that is North of #9 and South of the Soo Line tracks, hordered on the east by Church property and west to the Faue road extended as having a RC zoning, pending a letal verification` of the Village Attorney. Seconded by Harold Winterhalter Motion carried. Moved by Harold Winterhalter that ra authorize the building inspector to bring in professional help as he needs and agree to pay $10.00 per inspection for help. Seconded by Arthur Theis. Motion carried. Moved by Harold Winterhalter that if the cost of a building permit is in excess of $100.00 that the building inspector fee be 10 of the permit fee. Seconded by Rayburn Anderson Motion carried. Moved by Raymond Bosch to pay the bills as follows: payroll in the amount of $1911.00 and order checks in the amount of $19,455.06.
