RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT
FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES WITH HATCH MOTT MACDONALD - HILL
DISTRICT PROPERTY INVENTORY INSPECTION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of specialized engineering services in
connection with the Hill District Property Inventory Inspection Project; and
WHEREAS, Hatch Mott MacDonald P.O. Box 35501, Newark, New Jersey 07193,
possesses the requisite experience and expertise to provide said services; and
WHEREAS. Hatch Mott MacDonald has submitted a proposal to provide said services at
a total cost not to exceed $7.317.65; and
WHEREAS. the Mayor and Council have reviewed said proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Ot1icer has certified that funds are or will be available
for said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret. County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1 . That the proposal from Hatch Mott MacDonald for engineering
services related to the Hill District Property Inventory Inspection
Project at a total cost not to exceed $7,317.65 is hereby approved.
2. This action is approved as an award of a professional services
contract pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:II-5(1)(a);
3. That a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Borough's
Purchasing Department and Hatch Mott MacDonald.
Adopted this 16th day of December, 2004
and certified as a true copy of the original on
December 17.2004.
