Resolution Authorizing Contractor's Application for Payment #1
for the City Hall Parking Lots Reconstruction Project
WHEREAS, MSA Professional Services has prepared Pay Application #1 for the City Hall Parking Lots
Reconstruction Project; and,
WHEREAS, MSA Professional Services confirms that the unit costs included in Pay Application #1 are
reasonable and substantiated; and,
WHEREAS, MSA Professional Services recommends payment to KE Flatwork in the amount of
$237,233.05; and,
WHEREAS, the funding sources for this action are;
75% - #301-650-6499 - Capital Improvement Funds, City Hail & General Buildings, Other Contractual Services
25% - #301-150-6499 - Capital Improvement Funds, Fire, Other Contractual Services
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverdale, Iowa, that:
$ 177,924.79
$ 59,308.26
$237,233.05
Section 1: Pay Application #1 is approved.
Section 2; The Mayor is authorized and directed to sign Pay Application #1 dated September 14,
2023, in the total amount of $237,233.05.
Section 3: The Clerk is directed to pay KE Flatwork $237,233.05 for Pay Application #1.
