The meeting was called to order at 8:19 a.m., a quorum was present at that time.
1. Introduction
2. Acceptance of the March 5, 2020 meeting minutes
Mr. Kross requested New Business 3E be amended to add that members felt this item was
premature and would be better introduced at a later time when Jefferson City Public
Schools owns more of the properties, in an effort to reduce the effects this will have on
the residents that are still living there.
Mr. Towner made a motion to approve the minutes with the addition to 3E. Mr. Kross
seconded the motion, all members were in favor.
3. New Business
a) Request to create a Residential Permit Parking Zone (RPPZ) on the residential (east)
side of the 1400 block of Hough Park (Kolb to Moreau/Green Berry), affective only
APPROVED June 4, 2020
Monday thru Friday, between 7am and 5pm. (Requestor: Ms. Jacquelyn Berry and
neighbors)
Mrs. Griffin gave the staff report. Staff would recommend approval of the requested
RPPZ as petitioned.
The requestor was present and spoke on her behalf.
After a short discussion, Mr. Kross made a motion to accept the city
recommendations. Mr. Diemler seconded the motion. All members were in favor.
Motion carries.
b) Request to install stop signs on: Marilyn Dr. at Meadow Ln; on Meadow Ln. at Forest
Dr.; on Forest Dr. at Meadow Ln.; on Forest Dr. at Forest Hill Ave. (Requestor: Mr.
& Mrs. Heintz)
Mrs. Griffin spoke with the requestor by phone previously. Mrs. Heinz advised she
was unable to attend this meeting and requested item be tabled until the next
Transportation and Traffic Commission Meeting. Mr. Towner made a motion to
table the request until the next meeting. Mr. Kross seconded the motion. All
members were in favor.
c) Request to install a digital speed limit sign midway down Forest Hill Ave. (Requestor:
Mr. & Ms. Heintz)
This request was also tabled because the requestor was unable to attend and wishes to
speak on both items at the next meeting. This will also give Mrs. Griffin another
chance to attempt a traffic study in the area, as the previous study could not be
completed because of mechanical malfunctions.

A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Mr. Staub, and seconded by Mr. Towner.
All members were in favor. Meeting adjourned at 8:47 a.m.
