A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING
PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF CHAIN
LINK FENCING IN LYNWOOD CITY PARK
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to maintain safe and attractive
facilities; and
WHEREAS, fencing in Lynwood City Park is in need of replacement; and
WHEREAS, funds for replacement of this fencing are available from
1986 Community Parklands Act; and
WHEREAS, purchase and installation can be more expeditiously
effected if done through informal bid; and
WHEREAS, under section 2-62(c) of the Lynwood Municipal Code,
Council can authorize purchases through informal bids by a 4/5 vote; and
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
find, proclaim and resolve as follows:
Section 1. The City Council hereby finds and determines that the
purchase and installation of chain link fencing in Lynwood City Park can be
more effectively and economically effected by an informal bid procedure.
Section 2. This resolution shall go into effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 15th day of March 1988.
