A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING STAFF TO
SEND OUT REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR COLLECTION OF AGENCY
SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood's customers who moved out and left the
Water and Municipal bills unpaid; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood desires to obtain the services of a
Collection Agency firm to collect unpaid Water and Municipal bills; and
WHEREAS, to allow staff to prepare, send out and review proposals, staff
requests authorization to send out Requests for Proposals for Collection Agency.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
find, order, and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council authorizes staff to prepare and send out
Request for Proposal for Collection Agency.
Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 16~h day of December, 2008.
