A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
APPROVING THE CONSULTANT SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD AND MUNICIPAL REVENUE ADVISORS TO PROVIDE
REVENUE ENHANCEMENT SERVICES AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT
I~'°` WHEREAS, the City desires to utilize the services of Consultant as an
independent contractor to provide consulting services to the City as set forth in
the attached Exhibit A; and
WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it is fully qualified to perform such
consulting services by virtue of its experience and the training, education, and
expertise of its principals and employees.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The City Council of the City of Lynwood approves the
consulting services agreement between the City of Lynwood and Municipal
Revenue Advisors to provide revenue enhancement services.
Section 2: The City Council finds that this service may be more effectively
acquired through a waiver of the RFP process.
Section 3: That the Mayor is authorized to execute the agreement,
approved as to form by the City Attorney.
~,, Section 4: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
I adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 16`h day of December, 2008.
