A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT OF
RACHEL STENTA, AS THE CITY FINANCE DIRECTOR; AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN EMPLOYMENT
AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Mayor for the City of Moab is authorized, pursuant to the City of Moab
Municipal Code, 2.14.020, to appoint, with the advice and consent of the City Council, an
individual to serve as the City Finance Director; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor seeks the advice and consent of the City Council concerning the
appointment; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor desires to appoint Rachel Stenta as the City Finance Director for
the City of Moab; and authorize the Mayor to execute an Employment Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to consent to this appointment and approval of the
Employment Agreement.
THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City of Moab City Council hereby adopts this
Resolution and confinns the appointment of Rachel Stenta, as the City Finance Director
and authorizes the Mayor to execute an Employment Agreement.
This Resolution shall take effect on January 8, 2019.
Passed and adopted by action of the Governing Body of the City of Moab in open session
on this 8th day of January, 2019.
