A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPROVING DESIGN GUIDELINES FOR THE LONG
BEACH BOULDEVARD FACADE IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM-AND
APPROVING THE PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY AND PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS

WHEREAS, On August 4, 1987, the City Council of the City of
Lynwood approved the targeting of 1987-88 CDBG funds to implement
a Facade Improvement Program on Long Beach- Boulevard between
Imperial Highway and Fernwood Avenue; and
WHEREAS, on November 17, 1987, Council approved a contract
with Rodin Bieberly Associates to develop architectural design
services in support of the Facade Improvement Program; and
WHEREAS, Rodin Bieberly Associates have developed design
guidelines for the Long Beach Boulevard project area, which have
been approved by city staff; and
WHEREAS, City staff has prepared a paricipation agreement
which outlines rights and responsibilities of the city and program
participants, including adherence to program design guidelines.
NOW, THEREFORE, the- City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, order, determine and resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The design guidelines developed by Rodin Bieberly
Associates, for the Long Beach Boulevard Facade Improvement
program, are hereby approved.
SECTION 2. The participation agreement between the City and
Facade Improvement program participants is hereby approved.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 5th day of April ~
