A RESOLUTION OF THE LYNWOOD CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING THE LYNWOOD
SHERIFF'S STATION TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION FOR A GRANT FOR LAW
ENFORCEMENT PURPOSES TO OCJP
WHEREAS, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department desires to undertake
a certain project designated Career Criminal Apprehension Program to be funded in
part from funds made available through State General Funds FY 88/39 as authorized
by Chapter 1292 of the 1982 Statutes for the Career Criminal Apprehension Program,
administered by the Office of Criminal Justice Planning (hereafter referred to as
OCJP).
NOW, THEP.EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Captain Stuart Hansell of the Lynwood
Sheriff's Station is authorized on its behalf to submit an Application for Grant for
Law Enforcement Purposes to OCJP and is authorized to execute on behalf of the City
of Lynwood the Grant Award for law enforcement purposes, including any extensions
or amendments thereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that grant funds received hereunder shall not be
used to supplement law enforcement expenditures controlled by this body.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of April, 1988
