RESOLUTION NO. 88-60
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD AWARDING A PURCHASE CONTRACT
FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE UTILITY BO% FOR THE
FIRE DEPARTMENT RESCUE TRUCK
WHEREAS, the the City Council desires to provide the
necessary equipment to continue providing a safe and efficient
Fire Department operation; and
WHEREAS, on January 5, 1988, City Council appropriated
funds and authorized staff to advertise for bids; and
WHEREAS, on April 7, 1988, the bid opening was held in
the office of the City Clerk and Royal Truck Body of Paramount was
the lowest responsible bidder with a bid of $7,702.08.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does Hereby find, proclaim and resolve as follows:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of
Lynwood award a contract for the purchase of one utility body
to Royal Truck Body, Inc. of Paramount, based on their low bid
of $7,702.08
Section 2: This resolution shall take effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 19th day of
