Cordill moved,Molander seconded:The Fire Chief and the Marshal examine premises for fire hazzards and instruct the parties to clean up accordingly. Moti on carried upon roll call. Peterson moved,Molander seconde:The Town Atty.draw up an ordinances: governing trafic rules.Upon roll call all voted aye. All voted aye .upon roll call. There was some discussion about the rent paid for the Town Hall as _ the Realty Co. seemed to think that the rent was too low. This matter was left to the Bldg.& Irip.Comm. Cordill moved, Anderson seconded:To adj ourn. Rot; on carried. Rekular meeting June 7 1932 The meeting was called to order by stator VanBuskirk at 8:10 p.m. Andereon,Cordill,Molander,McIntyre & Peterson answered present at roll call.Venable absent. The minutes of the regular meeting of May 3 were read and approved as read. A communication from the public Utilities Comm. stated that they did not have juriddiction over town rates of water. Aletter from Bosworth -Chanute & Co. stated that some of the Town's bonds were for sale at par and they asked for a statement of the Town's indebtedness. This had been sent them. Mr.Pearse representing the Eureka Fire Hose Co.talked to the board about different fire hoses and asked that if the Town bought at this time he would to have a chance at their business.Buving of the hose was left to the Fire Comm. after the fire dept. had tested the d.ld Lose/ C.H.Frye asked the Board to pay the bill for the lights in the Town hall because the Realty Co.did not think they were getting enough rent.Thie was taken up latter. Noble Sanc.en talked to the Board about buying the First Nat.Bank building. This matter was left to the Finance Comm. It was decided not to sell the old bldg. on the town lots for a low figure. Ccrdill m.oved,Anderson seconded:T'at a water meter he installed at the county shops.Motion carried upon roll call. A radiator being needed for the tractor and a second haild one being available, it was decided to test it out and to buy the same if it proved to be a good. one. Atty.Clayton raed a proposed ordinance regulating trafic.Molander moved,Cordill seconded:To accept the proposed ordinance on its first reading. Cordill,olander,Mclntyte and Peterson voted ave,and Anderson voted nay.upon roll call. Venable absent. Anderson moved,Peterson secondlied:To allow the Odd Fellow Realty Co.` 1.59 more on therent of the Townhall and thus make the rent 19.50 per month commencing with the June rent.All present Noted aye. Anderson moved, Cordill seconded:To raise the minttmm of water tip be used. from 1500 to 2000 gallons aid not raise the cost. ,All present voted aye upon roll call.
