RESOLUTION NO. 86 -2672
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY AUTHORIZING TEMPLE CITY'S PAR-
TICIPATION IN THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY SHERIFF'S
DEPARTMENT CAREER CRIMINAL APPREHENSION
PROGRAM.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY HEREBY RESOLVES:
WHEREAS, the City of Temple City desires to undertake a
certain project designated Temple Station Career Criminal Appre-
hension Program to be funded in part from funds made available
through Chapter 477, 1985 Statutes, Career Criminal Apprehension
Program as amended, and administered by the Office of Criminal
Justice Planning (hereinafter referred to as OCJP).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Sheriff of Los
Angeles County, or his designee, is authorized, on its behalf to
submit the attached application for grant funds for law enforce-
ment purposes to OCJP and is authorized to execute on behalf of
the City of Temple City the attached Grant Award for law enforce-
ment purposes including any extensions of amendments thereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the CITY agrees to provide a
proportional (14.05%) share of all matching funds in conjunction
with the cities of Bradbury, Duarte, South El Monte and Rosemead,
required for said project (including any extensions or amendments
thereof), and that cash will be appropriated as required thereby.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that grant funds received hereunder
shall not be used to supplement expenditures controlled by this
body.

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
adopted by the City Council of the City of Temple City at a
regular meeting held on the 18th day of November, 1986, by the
following votes:
