APPOINTING A MUNICIPAL PUBLIC DEFENDER
FOR THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET
\VHEREAS, there is a need for a Municipal Public Defender in the Borough of Carteret;
and
\VHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the Borough to make said appointment;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Mayor and
Council of the Borough of Carteret that
DESMOND ABAZIA

be and is hereby appointed to the position of Municipal Public Defender, effective
January 1,2005, tem1 to expire December 31, 2005.
Adopted this 2nd day of January, 2005
and celiified as a true copy of the original
on January 3,2005.
