RESOLUTION NO. 86 -2675
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TEMPLE CITY DECLARING CERTAIN PREMISES TO BE A
PUBLIC NUISANCE AND ORDERING ABATEMENT THEREOF.
FOR THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of
Temple City has by Resolution No. 86 -1287 PC determined that a
public nuisance as defined in the Municipal Code exists on cer-
tain premises and recommends abatement thereof; and
WHEREAS, no appeal has been taken from said deter-
mination with respect to time in which to abate the nuisance;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TEMPLE CITY DOES RESOLVE:
SECTION 1. That a public nuisance, as defined in
the Municipal Code of the City of Temple City, exists on the
premises designated as 4831 Willmonte Avenue, and more particu-
larly described as Parcel 18, Lot 10, Tract 9848, Map Book 137,
pages 67 -68 of Maps in the Office of the County Recorder, County
of Los Angeles, State of California in the following particulars:
4230(i) - Dead trees, weeds and debris constitut-
ing unsightly appearance or dangerous to
public safety and welfare.
4230(k) - Inoperable vehicle stored for unreason-
able periods in front or side yard areas
which cause depreciation of nearby
property values.
SECTION 2. The property owner is ordered to abate
the nuisance within ten (10) days by the following methods:
1) Remove inoperative vehicle from property.
2) Mow and regularly maintain lawn.
3) Remove litter and miscellaneous debris from
driveway.
4) Abatement to be accomplished within 10 days.
SECTION 3. If said abatement is not accomplished
by the expiration of ten (10) days, the City Manager is hereby
authorized and directed to cause said public nuisance to be
abated by City forces or private contractor pursuant to the
Municipal Code.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk is hereby directed to
cause a copy of this Resolution to be served on the owner of said
premises pursuant to the Municipal Code.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution.
