A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AMENDING THE CLASSIFICATION PLAN AND
GENERAL AND MANAGEMENT SALARY SCHEDULE TO INCLUDE
THE POSITIONS OF HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR, PERSONNEL
ANALYST, ADMINISTRATIVE AIDE, OFFICE ASSISTANT I, II
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has adopted an Employee
Classification and Position Plan and amended same as needed; and
[dHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has adopted a salary
resolution with salary schedules including a general and management salary schedule;
and
WHEREAS, the required job analysis has been completed and the classification
statements prepared on that basis; and
WHEREAS, the Personnel Board has recommended the new classifications; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has reviewed the proposed
action and approves same;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
determine, order and resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. Amend the Employee Classification and Position Plan to include
the classifications of Human Resources Director, Personnel Analyst, Administrative
Aide (revised), Office Assistant I, FI.
SECTION 2. Amend the general and management salary schedule to include the
title of Human Resources Director at 9M, Personnel Analyst I at the level of 14G,
Personnel Analyst II at 1M, Personnel Analyst III at the level of 4M, Office Assistant
I at 2G a.nd Office Assistant II at the level of 2.SG pending final approval of the
classification study. The revised Administrative Aide classification will remain at
level SG.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 17th day of MaY 1988.
