RESOLUTION NO. 86 -2679
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TEMPLE CITY DECLARING CERTAIN PREMISES TO BE A
PUBLIC NUISANCE AND ORDERING ABATEMENT THEREOF.
FOR THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of
Temple City has by Resolution No. 86 -1291 PC determined that a
public nuisance as defined in the Municipal Code exists on cer-
tain premises and recommends abatement thereof; and
WHEREAS, no appeal has been taken from said deter-
mination with respect to time in which to abate the nuisance;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TEMPLE CITY DOES RESOLVE:
SECTION 1. That a public nuisance, as defined in
the Municipal Code of the City of Temple City, exists on the
premises designated as 4803 Heleo,and more particularly described
as Parcel 23, Lot 19, Tract 13329,Map Book 266, pages 36 -37 of
Maps in the Office of the County Recorder, County of Los Angeles,
State of California in the following particulars:
4230(i) - Dead trees, weeds and debris constitut-
ing unsightly appearance or dangerous to
public safety and welfare.
4230(q) - Neglect of premises to spite neighbors
or to influence zone changes or to cause
detrimental effect upon nearby property
or property values.
SECTION 2. The property owner is ordered to abate
the nuisance within thirty (30) days by the following method:
Remove accumulated scrap wood, cut branches,
broken furniture, leaves, plastic containers,
spare tires, gardening wire and dry vegetation
from all yard areas.
SECTION 3. If said abatement is not accomplished
by the expiration of thirty (30) days, the City Manager is hereby
authorized and directed to cause said public nuisance to be
abated by City forces or private contractor pursuant to the
Municipal Code.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk is hereby directed to
cause a copy of this Resolution to be served on the owner of said
premises pursuant to the Municipal Code.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution.

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
adopted by the City Council of•the City of Temple City at a
regular meeting held on the 4th day of November, 1986, by the
following vote:
AYES: Councilmen- Dennis, Froehle, Gillanders, Swain, Atkins
NOES: Councilmen -None
ABSENT: Councilmen -None
