A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF 'PHE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AWARDING A CONTRACT TO ROY ALLEN SLURRY"
SEAL, INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF $43,395.00 FOR THE
SLURRY SEAL PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Slurry Seal Projecet is scheduled for
construction during fiscal year 1987-88, funded by HCDA funds;
WF[EREAS, On May 12, 1988 staff began to advertise for
bids for the Slurr}- Seal Project.
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that the con-
tractor has a good reputa.ti.on and the necessary- experience i.n
slurry seal; and
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the contract for the Slurry Seal
Project be awarded to Roy Allen Slurry Seal, Inc.
Section 2. This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
