A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD CONSENTING TO A JOINT PUBLIC
HEARING ON THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE
REDEVELOPMENT PLAN (AS AMENDED) FOR PROJECT
AREA "A"; ESTABLISHING A DATE, TIME AND PLACE
FOR THE JOINT PUBLIC HEARING; AND
AUTHORIZING PUaLICATION AND MAILING OF NOTICE
OF JOINT PUBLIC HEARING ON SAID PROP03ED PLAN
AMENDMENT.

WHEREAS, the Lynwood Redevelopment Agency (the "Agency"} is
preparing an amendment (the "Proposed Amendment") to the
Redevelopment Plan for Project Area "A" ae previously amended
(the "Redevelopment Plan"); and
WHEREAS, the preparation of the Proposed Amendment to the
Redevelopment Plan conforms to the requirements of the Community
Redevelopment Law (California Health and Safety Code section
33000, et sea,)J and
WHEREAS, Section 33458 of the California Community
Redevelopment Law (Health and Safety Code Section 33000, ~ sec.}
authorizes a joint public hearing on the Proposed Amendment to
the Redevelopment Plan, upon the consent of the City Council of
the City of Lynwood (the "City Council") and the Agency;
WHEREAS, on the 7th oP June , 1988, the Agency, by
Resolution No. 88-27 has consnnta to a joint public hearing
on the Proposed Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan for said
Project and has requested that the City Gauncil consent to such
joint public hearing and establish the date, time and place
therefor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BX THE CITY COUNCIL A3
~ FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby conserita to.a joint
public hearl.ng on the Proposed Amendment to the Redevelopment
Plan for Project Area "A".
5ECTION 2. The City Council hereby establishes that a
joint public hearing with the Redevelopment Agency be held on
July 5, 1988 at 7:30 p.m, in the Council Ghamber to consider the
proposed Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan for Project Area

SECTION 3. In the event that the joint public hearing
shall not be held on the date, time and/or place herein
established, the City Council hereby authorizes the City Clerk,
in cooperation with the Agency, to set a date, time and/or place
for the joint public hearing.
SECTION 4. The City Council hereby authorizes the City
Clerk, in cooperation with the Agency, to publish and mail
notice of the joint public hearing in the manner and within the
times required by law.
