Fe'ular meeting October 3 1977
Mayor VanBuekirk called the meetin;o tt order at 8:10 P.- .
Anderson,Cardill,Molarder,McIntyre,Petersen and Venable present.
The minutes of re ular meeting of Sep t.5, were read and approved
as read.
4cohmuntcation frog, the Weld County Municipal League stating
that a hearing concerning light rates was to be held soon and
asking for the Town's proportion of expense be paid was Vread.
This had been taken care of.
The report on the sample of town water stated it to be safe.
A letter from the County Assessor stated the assessed valuation
of the Town to be P 297,540 and asked that the Board rake a
l evey for Town taxes.
Anderson moved,Cordill s econded: That a levy of the following
be levy:
Ordinary purposes 3.5 mills
Payment of bonds 5.5 mills
Interest 4.0 mills
Street Alley 3.5 mills
Total 16.5 mil s
All vote.d are upon roll call.
It was decided to license the pool halls at the same rate as when
their quit.
Anderson movea,seocnde..:To donate A 35. to the mown library
All voted acre.
It was decided to purchase as many W.' .Extens?on Bonds as there
was money in the bank. And register the rest cf the 4 7,000 due
Pecenber 1 1933.
It was suggested by the fire chief that theni Pub marshal and
day rrarshal looks after the fires in the fire house and see that
the tires on the fire truck had air in themand start the engine
once ar twice a week while they were on duty and should the day
marshal be out of town the clerk was look after them.
