AN ORDINANCE,FIXING STHE ANNUAL ZALARIES OF ALL ELECTED OFFICER
OF. THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, PAYABLE FROM THE GENERAL FUND,
EFFECTIVE AT THE COMMENCEMENT OF THE TERMS OF SUCH OFFICERS
SUCCEEDING THE GENERAL ELECTION OF 19710 AS PROVIDED FOR BY
CHAPTER 107 OF THE ACTS OF 1.959.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana:.
SECTION 1. The annual salaries of the Mayor, the City Judge,-.
the City Clerk, and each member of the Ccmncn Council effective
at the cca mencement of the terror of said officers next succeeding
the general- election of 1971, payable from the General Fund of
said City, shall be in the following amounts:
Mayor $15,506.00 - 1972
16,000e00.- 1973
lb, 50000 - 1974
17,000:00 - 1975
City .fudge $ 9,000.00
City Clerk - S 7,500.00
Members of Common
Council (each) S 1,200.00
SECTION 2. The Clerk is ordered and directed to publish this
ordinance twice in a newspaper of general circulatic,n in the
English language in this City, the first of which publications
shall be at least 30 days prior to the date of the passage of
this ordinance.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall bb in full force and effect
from and after its passage, and shall be effective as to salaries
provided herein on and after.January 1, 1972.
