Roll Call showed the folhcw' ng members present: Anderson, Cordill, Molander,Mcintore,Peterson and Venable. The minutes of t-` e regular meeting of Octoh_er 3 were read and approved as read. A comriu cation from the Colc.!=uMicipal League stated that the State law required the Board must make out a budget for the coring near. I t was decided that the finance committee get one ready for the Board to pass on. 4 letter fro,- the League explained that the lai rer for the Light Co.had been trvigg to cause dissention in the L ague ry claii img that t -he lea=»ue was favoring Greeley against the other town with better rates. Several gas station men met with the Board and asked that they refuse to allow an automatic pump to operate within the town limits without en operator. and that the pump was tor close to t' e high- way.After sore discussion it was de ied that the town had no cause for .s toping this pump and that they left it to the high- way l ept. to decide t-hether the pump was too close tc the road. The owner fi as present and stated that he 'ad not gotten into trouble only in Longmont where oil men were on t'e Board,and that the case was still in the U.S.Supreme Court. A notice to this effect -as to be published in the paper. All voted aye upon roll call. Andersonmoved,Peterson seconded:To have the Marshal and Fier Chief exarine all. ash pits ,mc re especially the ones at the Christian church and parsonage, and the places owned by Fagers, Ccldman and Burback.Motion carried.
