Councilman H. L. Luwe introduced the Resolution next hereinafter
set out, and moved its adoption, seconded by Councilman Mayo Tjaden, and
after due consideration thereof by the Coundil, the Mayor put the question
upon the adoption of said Resolution, and the roll being called, the
following Councilmen voted:
AYES: Lester Huisman, Charles Starr, Mayo Tjaden,
Neil OtKones, H. L. Luwe.
NAYS: None
Whereupon the mayor declared the Resolution duly adopted as follovis :
RESOLUTION DIRECTING NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND FORM OF CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUC-
TION OF A UFATER WORKS lMPROVI LENT FOR THE INCORPORATED TOWN
OF ZrTELLSBURG, GRUNDY COUNTY, STATE OF IOWA, F1,ING TILE AND
PLACE FOR HEARING THEREON AND RECEIVING BIDS THEREON.
WHEREAS, proposed plans and specifications for deep well pump
installation and connection to existing facilities, together with
proposed form of contract, have been prepared and are on file in
the office of the Clerk of said Town; and
T,-�'HEREAS, notice should be given,pursuant to law, that objections
to said proposed plans and specifications and proposed form of contract
be placed upon hearing, and further that the taking of 'Dials be determined
and bids received thereon:
NOW, THERLFURE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE T&AN OF
WELLSBURG, IOWA:
Section 1. That the proposed plans and specifications and the
proposed form of contract for the extending and reconstructing of the
Municipal Waterworks Plant and System of said Town by construction
of deep well pump installation and connection to existing facilities
and the call for bids thereon be set for hearing and receiving of bids
on the 18th.day.of March, 1960, at 1:30 P.M. at the Council Chambers
in the Town Hall in said Town, and that notice thereof be given and
published in the Wellsburg Herald on the 25th day of February, 1960,
and a second publication on the 3rd day of March, 1960.
Section 2. Bp it further resolved that the Town Clerk is hereby
authorized, empowered and directed to proceed with the publication of
said notice, both as to the hearing upon the plans and specifications
and the fixing of the time and place of hearing thereon and receiving
bids thereon according to the resolves of Section 1.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 22nd day of February, 1900.

Motion by Starr second by Eckhoff to allow final estimate for drilling
of deep well of q$ 7652.18, but to retain $652.18 until sucks time as
all landscaping is finished, Motion carried.
