Leesburg Commission on Public Art Issues Call for Artists for
New Sculpture Garden in Raflo Park
Leesburg, VA (February 11, 2016) – The
Leesburg Commission on Public Arts
invites submissions for the inaugural
installations in ArtsPARKs, an outdoor
sculpture exhibit in Raflo Park. ArtsPARKs
is a collaborations between the Leesburg
Commission on Public Art and the Friends
of Leesburg Public Arts, a non-profit
organization.
For the inaugural ArtsPARKs program,
five artists or teams of artists will be
selected for a two-year installation of
public art along a newly constructed
paved walkway in Raflo Park. Artworks
will be on loan for the duration of the installation and must b e for sale. Submission deadline is
March 7, 2016.
Artists will be selected and notified by the end of March. Artworks will be installed in June
2016, and unveiled in a ceremony on July 2, 2016. For complete submission guidelines and

The Leesburg Commission on Public Art thanks the Lansdowne Development Company,
