Wayne Neddermeyer - Mayor in Chair Priscilla bens - Clerk All members present. The minutes of the regular meeting of September 5, 1967 read. Moved by Raymond Bosch that the minutes be approved as read. Seconded by Rayburn Anderson. Motion carried. The minutes of the special meeting of September 13, 1967 read. Moved by Arthur Theis that the minutes be approved as read. Seconded by Harold Winterhalter. Motion carried. The minutes of the special meeting of September 21, 1967 read. Moved by .Rayburn Anderson that the minutes be approved as read. Seconded by Raymond Bosch. Motion carried. The minutes of the Planning Commission meeting of September 18, 1967 read. Discussion of budget prbpose` at"September,l3th'meet,_iige onved'by' Arthur Theis that on the proposed budget to discontinue the future equipTemt purchase of `P5000.00 and put t2000.00 more on capital improvements making it 7000.00. Motion ,lied for lack of a second. Moved by Raymond Bosch that we eliminate the si nkinT fund of '5000.00 for village hall and aad 5000.00 to the capital improvements on the roads 2n eliminate the futuru equipment purchase for the roads in the amount of '5000.00. Seconded by Arthur Theis. Motion carried. Harold Winterhalter voted'. "ado". Moved by Raymond. Bosch to approve the budget for 1968 as amended.. Seconded by Arthur Theis. Motion carried. Moved by Harold Winterhalter that the building inspector be authorized to issue a building permit to Mr. Boisclair on the property as shown on the plat he submitted. Seconded by Raymond Bosch. Motion carried. Mrs. Higgins appeared with regard to letter they received with regard to moving the tractor trailer. She was advised no further action would be taken until we received a formal protest signed by the person who objected to it. Gilbert Pettit appeared with regard to fixing up the "Superette" to livein, and was referred to the Planning Commission. He also asked_ about what has been found out with regard to selling off -sale liquor after eight (O'clock. Clerk to check with attorney. Letter from the Leauue of Minnesota Municipalities with regard to regional meeting at Spring Lake Park on October.11th. Harold Winterhalter is going. Letter from Mrs. Carter with regard to the fire on the Scherer property was read. A letter was read from the Metropolitan Section of the League of Municipalities soliciting the Village membership. A letter was read from the Board of County Commissioners with regard to Hennepin County General Hospital, also enclosing the hospital budget. A letter from the northwest Suburban Chamber of Commerce with regard to the sewage survey. William Mills is to appear at their next meeting in this connection. Announcement made of the Hennepin County League of Municipalities meeting Thursday evening, -October 5, 1967 at 8:00 P. M. at Golden Valley Village Hall. Moved by Harold Winterhalter that the Village Attorney be instructed to determine the status of all roads and cartways existing in the Village. Seconded by Rayburn Anderson. Motion carried. 'Arthur Theis reported on the wort{ being done on the skating rink and ball park at Medina.Mornineside Park. Moved by Arthur Theis to pay the bills; payroll checks in the amount of 2900.63 and order checks in the amount of '!J:23p46.32. Seconded by Raymond Bosch. Notion carried.
