HomeMy Public PortalAboutPAGE 215Regular Meeting August 7 1934 Mayor Van Buskirk called the meeting to order at 7:05 Carl,Cordill,Frye,Molande.r and Tinker present,Venable absent. The minutes of the called meeting of July 11 were read and approved as read. A communication from C.L.Alstrand stated that he had a sprinkler and wagon for sale at 75.00 but no action was raken. A card from the Seely of the Weld County League was read in which he stated the next meeting of the league would be held on the next Wednesday.He urged all that could to attend. Cordill moved,Tinker seconded:To have the S.& A.Comm. investigate the cost of a curb & gutter extending from the Moore Station corner to the Greafe corner west.All present voted. ave.except Mr.Molander. The minutes of the regular meeting of August 7 were read and approved as read. A letter from Mr.Tegtnan stated that there Was lots of complaint on the automatic gas pump.The clerk was instructed to write Mr. Ke y The following week the clerk called Mr.Kelly and he stated that the only way that the Town could getthe automatic gas pump out would be to rake an ordnance with a large license to it. A permit for stetting wood from the Government,to have transients work on when they wanted a meal,was received.This wood. wq,e to be sold at # 2.00 per rick. Any one cutting it was to receive 1.00 for the work,per rick. The clerk was asked to arrange with the International Trust Co. to make the interest payments at the Farmers National Bank, Ault, This was done the following week. There were two bids .for the curb and gutter which had been proposed to be put in between the Continental Gas corner and the Fred Graefe corner west.Chae.Robinson bid ' 1.85 per lineal ft. for job complete and extra curbing .65t per. lineal ft. and .350 for extra sidewalk. J,W,Duncan's bid Brae ' l 1.90 per lineal ft..72Y for curb alone and .320 for extra sidewalk.The S.& A.Comm.were asked to see about gettting each one on the street to have the work dobF. The Mayor said that he would see about a health officer and if the State or County officer could beaApointed to do this wotk.
