AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE THE SUM OF TWELVE 'THOUSAi1D DOLLARS
($12,000.00) FROM MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY CASH OPERATING TO MOTOR
VEHICLE HIGHWAY S 36 (7-72-722) 140TOR EQUIPMENT "PROPERTIES",
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary emergencies have developed since
the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now
necessary to appropriate more money for various functions of the
City Government than was appropriated to.the annual' budget.
SECTION 1. 8E IT ORDAINED by the Caton Council of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, that foe the expenses of the Cityy Government
and its institutions for the year ending December 31, 1971, the
following amount of money is hereby appropriated and set apart
out of the fund named and for the purpose specified. Said sum
being subject to all laws governing the same. Such amounts
appropriated shall be held to include all expenditures to be
made during the year unless expressly stipulated by law.
SECTION 2. That for the fiscal period, there is hereby appropri-
ated the following specified amount to meet the extraordinary
emergency that exists.

SECTION 3'. 14HEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing
appropriations now have unobli ated balances which will not be
used for purpose which appropryated.
IT IS THEREFORE ORDAINED by the Ccmion Council of the Cityy of
Richmond, Indiana, that such unnecessary existing apppropriation
be now reduced in amount as follows% and the name is appropriated
to the above named item..
REQUESTED RERUCTION

SECTION 4. An extraordinary emergency,exists for the above
appropriation,,
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject
to the laws of the State of Indiana governing emergency appropri-
ations.
