AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NOo 2325-1968 COMMONLY KNOWN
AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA,
ADOPTED JUNE 3, 1968.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, as follows;
SECTION 1. WHEREAS, the Zoning Map which is a part of Ordinance
No. 2325-1968 designates and describes as C-2 Community Business
District and R-A Single Family Residence, the following described
property located in the City of Richmond, Indiana, t(,-wit:
Being a part of the Southwest (quarter of Section 35,
Township.14 North, Range 1 West, in Wayne Township,
Wayne County, Indiana, more particularly described
as follows:
Beginning at' a point on the south line of the Southwest
uarter of Section 35, said point being 1444.85 feet north
9 degrees and 47 minutes west of the southeast corner of
said Southwest Quarter, and running thence, from said
beginning point, north 89 degrees and 47 minutes west,
along the south line of said Southwest quarter, 836-35
feet to 4.poi'nt on the present Corporation Line of the
City of Richmond, Indiana; thence north 0 degrees and
03 minutes east, along said Corporation Line, 527.50
feet; thence south.89 degrees and 47, minutes east,
along said Corporation Line, 834.05'feet; thence south
0 degrees, and 12 minutes east, 527.50•.feet to the place
of beginning,, containing an area of-10.114 acres.
SECTION 2. WHEREAS, .it: is the intent and purpose hereof to
change the zoning classification of the:above,described area
from Rsi to C-2.
SECTION 3. WHEREAS, a study of this Ordinanc `was conducted
by the Richmond City Plan Commission on.-.tfie 1/ 6.day of

SECTION 4. WHEREAS, the vote of the Richmond" City Plan

NOW, THEREFORE:
SECTION 5• It is hereby ordained that the zoning classification
of the above described .property be, and the same is hereby
changed to Community Business District and that said property
be regulated in accordance with the Zoning Ordinance of the
City of Richmond, Indiana, and all amendments thereto.
SECTION 6. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and publication as by law required.
SECTION 7. The original zoning classification of the afore
mentioned areas is hereby rescinded and the zoning classification
of this area will be in accordance with Section 2 of this
Ordinance. _
