BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Countil of the City of Richmond, Indiana: Section 1. That the following described territory be annexed to and declared to be a part of said City of Richmond, Indiana, to -wit: Being a part of the Northeast Quarter Section 2 Township 13 North Range 1 West, Northwest Quarter Section 1 Township 13 North Range 1 West, Southwest Quarter Section 36 Township 14 North Range 1 West, and Southeast Quarter Section 35 Township 14 North Range l West in the City of Richmond and Wayne County, Indiana and more particularly described as follows: Commencing at a stone at the Southwest corner of the Northwest Quarter Section 1 Township 13 North Range 1 West; thence North 89050' West along an extension of the South line of the North- west Quarter of said Section 1 a distance of 16.50 feet; thence North 0047' East, parallel to the West line of said Section 1, a distance of 330.00 feet; thence South 89050' East,,parallel to the South line of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 1, a distance of 4.50 feet; thence North 0047' East, parallel to the West line of said Section 1, a distance of 1517.73 feet to the point of beginning, all of the foregoing bearings and dis- tances being in accordance with that showp on a plat of a survey made by John E. Beals, Land Surveyor No. 7955, and dated Novem- ber 19, 1968; thence continuing North 6647' East, parallel to the West line of said Section 1, a distance of 785.00 feet to a point on the North line of the Northeast Quarter of said Sec- tion 2, said point being North 89050' West a distance of 12.00 feet from the Northeast corner of said Section 2; thence North 0056'38" East a distance of 898.58 feet to'a point on the pro- jected centerline of old U.S. Highway No. 40; thence South 74014'00" East along said centerline a distance of 805.44 feet; thence South 10012122" East along the centerline of an existing 16" water siphon line a distance of 712.84 feet; thence South 4044'45" East and continuing along the centerline of said siphon 1tpw2M 2- a distance of 107.12 feet; thence South 0030129" West and continuing along the centerline of said siphon a distance of 95.55 feet; thence continuing along the centerline of the said siphon upon an assumed bearing of South 4003' West an assumed distance of 413.22 feet, said assumed bearing and distance to be confirmed by subsequent survey; thence con- tinuing along the centerline of the said siphon upon an assumed bearing of South 17049' West an assumed distance of 168.22 feet, said assumed bearing and distance to be con- firmed by subsequent survey; thence North 89013' West a distance of 854.42 feet, said distance and bearing to be confirmed by subsequent survey, to the point of beginning, containing 31.6823 acres, 1,380,081 square feet. Section 2. The terms and conditions applied to this annexa- tion are as follows: a) The effective date of this annexation shall be postponed until such time as the foregoing real estate, or any part thereof, shall be approved for a Residential Unit Development Project by Ordinance duly enacted by the Common Council of the City of Rich- mond, Indiana. Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, subject to the provisions of Section 2 hereof, and approval by the Mayor and publication as by law required.
