AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $35,000.00 FROM THE CUMULATIVE BUILDING
FUND FOR STORM SEWERS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF STORM SEWERS FOR
SURFACE WATER DRAINAGE.
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary emergencies have developed since the
adoption of the existing annual budget st- that it is now necessary
to appropriate more money for the various functions of the city
government than was appropriated in the annual budget:
NCW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RICHMOND, INDIANA:
SECTION 1. That for the expenses of the City government and its
institutions fQr the year ending December 31, 1971, the following
amount of money is hereby appropriated and set apart out of the
fund named and for the purpose specified. Said sum being subject
to all laws governing the same. Such amount appropriated shall
be held to include all expenditures authorized to be made during
the year, unless expressly stipulated by-law.
SECTION 2. That for the said fiscal period, there is hereby
appropriated from the Cumulative Building Fund for Storm Sewers,
the following specified amount to meet the extraordinary emergency
hereby declared to exist:

These funds are to be appropriated for the fallowing project:
Construction of relief sewer on South 13th between "L"
to 11011, and South 14th Street between 'PMPP to 1$011, and
South "M1P 13th to 16th Streets.
SECTION 3., This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to
the laws of the State of Indiana, governing emergency appropriations
