AN ORDINANCE GF THE CITY OF LYNVd00D AMENDING
ORDINANCE N0. 468 OF SAID CITY, T+lHICH ORDINANCE,
Ab4ONG OTHER THINGS, REGULATES ;-TOMES FOR ACED,
DAY NURSERY SCHOOLS, BOARDING SCHOOLS, ETC.
The City Council of the City of Lynwood, California,
does ordain a.s follows:
Section 1: Section 202 of Ordinance No. 468 is hereby
amended to read as follows:
PERMIT REQUIRED. No person, without having obtained
a t-written health permit therefor as provided in this Chapter, shall
conduct or maintain any home for the aged, mental institution,
private day school, day nursery or day nursery school, private
boarding school, or children's boarding home. Provided., however,
that no such permit shall be required for any home for the aged,
private day school, day nursery or day nursery school, private
bos~rding school or children's boarding home where less than 7
children or aged persons are housed taho are not related to the
immediate family.
Section 2: Section 202.2 of Ordinance No. 468 is
hereby amended to read as follotas:
PERMIT APPLICATION FEE. Every application for a
permit recuired by Section

Section 3: That said Ordinance No. 468 is hereby
amended as hereinabove in Sections 1 and 2 of this ordinance
set forth; and all of the provisions of said Ordinance r?o. 468
shall be applicable to this amendatory ordinance to said Ordi-
nance No. 468.
Section 4: The City Clerk shall certify to the
passage of this Ordinance by the City Council and to its signa-
ture by the Mayor and to its attestation by the City Clerk, and
shall cause this Ordinance to be published once in the Lyntaood
Press, a newspaper of general issue, published a.nd circulated in
said City of Lynwood, California.
First read at a -regular meeting of the City Council
of said City held on the 17th day of July, 1951, and finally
adopted and ordered published at a-regular meeting of said
Council held on the 7th day of August„ 1951, by the following
vote:
Bruner, Daetweiler, Moffitt,
AYES: COUNCILMEN Sneddon and Vdillard.
NOES: COUNCILMEN None.
ABSEIQT: COUNCILMEN None.
