The minutes of the regular meeting of November 7 were read and approved as read. A committee from the library board,consisting of Mre.Brayton and Mrs.Smith,carne before the Board and asked if the Town could he .p them with the Library expenses.The Board said they would take the matter up later in the evening. Mr.Prioe of the Portland Cement Co. talked to the Board about looking into the rnetter of a survey for a sewer system.No action was taken. Mnved,Tinker seconded: To allow the bills and draw warrants on the Treasurer for the amo,3nte. Motion carried. A communication from Mine & Smelter Co. asking that the Town pay them a difference of * 95.50 on rewinding the motor which wa aburned out July 3 .The clerk was instructed to write t1,e Corrrany and state that the Board did not feel they owed that amount to them and they would be glad to have the Company sent representives to the next meeting in January, ac this matter could be talked over., Other communications were tabled. Cordill moved,Tinker seconded:T' at the park Committee have some dirt hauledand placed along the east aide of the R,R.Park so that the Town rnlght have a skating pond. Motion carried. Tinker moved, Cr. rd i 11 s econded: Tr e.t the Town donate 25.00 to the Library .All voted aye upon roll call. Wrn.Tinker talked to the Board about the purchase of the hotel building fr n the Odd Fellow Lodge to be used as s comunity building. He stated this building could be rermodled wit', relief workere.It was left to Tinker to find out the cost of the building. Clerk Regular Meetin January 2 1'35 Mayor The meeting was called to order at 8:OC P.M.By Mayor VanBuskirk. Carl,Cordill,Frfre,Molander,Tinker and Venable present. The minutes of the regular meeting of December 5 1234 were read and Approved as read. Cordill talked to the Board about the worr:an' e relief work and said that they would like to have the Town furnish rent and heat for this work. Cordill moved,Molander seconded:-nat the Town pay the Hotel 20.0' a month for quarters for Woman's relief work as loner as it is needed. All present voted aye upon roll call. "'e Mine & SrielterCc. ,Home Gas & Electric Co. and Westinghouse Co. had representives at the neeting to expltin why they thought the Town should pay the account of 95.50 which Mine & Svelter Co. asked for the balancing the accounts of the motor which was burnt up in July. Cotdil `_moved Mcl ande r seconded:- To allow the bill ofMine '& Smelter Co. for P 95.50. All. voted a' e upon roll call. A communication from the J.V.Mullen Investment Co.Denver,asked if the Town wanted_ to refund the Park 5 e bonds which became due May 1 1935,,tating that th'vv might be able to give a lower rate of interest. The clerk was instructed to write them about the cost to the Townn®
