APPROVINGŒlANGE ORDER # 1
VIDEO SECURITY SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM FOR
THE THOMAS J. DEVERIN COMMUNITY CENTER/LIBRARY
WHEREAS, the Governing Body of the Borough of Carteret has' previously awarded a
contract to Associated Lock & Key in the amount of $21,970.00 for the Video Security
Surveillance System for the Thomas J. Deverin Community Center/Library; and
WHEREAS, Change Order #1 includes a change in the description of work to reflect the
actual field conditions; and
WHEREAS, Change Order #1 provides for a net increase in the contract price in the
amount of $3,500.00, resulting in a revised contract price of $25,470.00 including all
previously approved change orders; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret as follows:
1. That the Contract Change Order #1 and Final attached hereto and made a
part hereof, resulting in a net increase of $3,500.00, and resulting in a
revised contract price of $25,470.00 is hereby approved.
2. That the appropriate Borough Officials are hereby authorized to execute
Change Order #1 and Final based upon the recommendation of the
Borough Engineer.
3. That the Borough Purchasing Department is hereby authorized to issue
payment pursuant to Payment Certification No. I and Final (see attached),
only upon the authorization of the Borough Attorney.
Adopted this 13th day of January, 2005
and certified as a true copy of the
original on January 14, 2005.
