AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AMENDING THE 2012-20 13
BUDGET OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON , MISSOURI , BY RECOG NIZING REVENUE AND
APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL FUNDS WITHIN THE PARK FUND .
WHEREAS, A windstorm damaged buildings and grounds at Washi ngton Park and Binder Pa rk;
and
WHEREAS, Insurance adjusters have valued the damages at $62 ,8 87 .60 less a $2 5,000
deductible ; and
WHEREAS, The Parks and Recreation Commission has approved and accepted a cla im
settlement in the amount of $37 ,887 .60 .
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE C IT Y OF
JEFFERSON , MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1. The 2012-13 budget is hereby amended by recog ni zi ng $37,887 .60 in insuran ce
claims revenue within the Park Fund and appropriating the funds as ind icated on Ex hibit A
attached hereto.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its
passage and approval.
