COUNCIL “BROWN BAGEL” WORK SESSION, MAY 16, 2013
CALL TO ORDER
The May 16, 2013, Brown Bagel W ork Session was convened at 7:34 A.M. by Mayor
Eric Struemph.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Branch, Bray, Graham, Henry, Hussey, Mihalevich, Prather, Schulte,
and Scrivner
Absent: Carroll
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Bills:
2013-15 (Adjusting Minimum Fines) – City Counselor Drew Hilpert stated there may
be a substitute bill which would amend a few fines as requested by the City Prosecutor.
It would be distributed before the bill is voted on at the June 3 meeting.
2013-18 (Air Streets Stormwater Project) – Councilman Scrivner had questions about
right-of-way and easements.
2013-19 (Contract for Conference Center Facilitator) – Council Members asked
questions which were answered by Mr. Hilpert.
2013-8 (Residency Requirements for City Personnel) – Both Councilmen Mihalevich
and Hussey stated they may will probably offer amendments to this bill on Monday night,
one to increase the list by the addition of the position of Planning & Protective Services
Department Director, and one to decrease the list by removing the Public Works
Director, respectively.
