Z'he City Couneil of the City of Lynwood does ordain as follows: Sect 1: Definitions. Within the meaning of this ordinance a, "Explosives" means gun poti,;der, blasting potader, dyna- mite, and every other explosive substance having a power greater than or equal to ordinary black powder. b, "Weapons" mea.rs revolver, pistol, dagger, dirk, slug, high=powered air rifle, or billy. c, "Alias" meads any name other than the true name of a person w*hich such. person uses or has used or which he or she is knotm by or had been knoern by. d. "Membership" means any person who is recognized by an organization as such or who is formally associated or affiliated t~rith any organization or who accepts the policies or programs of any organization and ~c~rho is active in its behalf. Sec t_ ion ?: The City Council finds that: a, There exist in the City of Lync~rood. active organizations tahich are orgaizized to reach ends and use methods t~rhich are incompat- ible crith our present constitutional system of government in the United States, the State of California, and the City of Lynwood. b, The goal of these active organizations is to seize powers of government by and for a r,~inority rather than to acquire power through the vote of a free electorate.
