AN ORDINANCE OF CITY OF LYNNJOOD REPEALING
ORDINANCE N0. 203 OE' SAID CITY.
The City Council of the City of Lyncaood ordains as follows:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 203 of the City of Lynwood is
hereby revealed.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
and adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be publisk~
ed once in the Lynwood Press, a newspaper published, printed, and
circulated in the City of Lynwood, California, and which said news-
paper is hereby designated for that purpose.
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council
of said City held on the 15thday ofAuguat , 1950, and finally
adopted and ordered published at a regular meeting of said Council
held on the 5th day of September , 1950, by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN Bruner Daetweiler
Sneddon and Willard
NOES: COUNCILMEN None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN Stroh

Gentlemen:
At the last regular meeting of the Council, the City Attorney was
requested to give an opinion on the validity of Ordinance No. 203
of the city, prohibiting the sale o£ intoxicating liquors in the
City of Lynwood.
The ordinance is clearly invalid under presenTos~~$ and'eInsb~tbmit
tutional amendments and should be repealed.
