ORDINANCE N0. 531 ANI?EXATIONCOF GERTAINIPORTIONS~OFOBULLZSOROAD.~E WFTEREAS, pursuant to the "Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939", proceedings were initiated by the City Council of the City of Lynwood, April ~, 1950, to provide for annexation of certain portions of Bullis Road contiguous to the City of Lynwood and uninhabited and hereinafter particularly deacribed;.and WriEREAS, by Resolution No. 2269 adopted by the Gity Council of the City of Lynorood on the 4th day of April, 1950, and published in the Lynwood Press, the City Council of the City of Lynaaood duly gave notice of and fixed the 2nd day of May, 1950, at 8:00 o'clock p.m. in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, 11331 Plaza Street, Lynwood, California as the day, hour, and place when and where any person owning real pro- perty in such territory so published to be annexed and having any ob,~ec- tion to the proposed annexation might appear before said City Council and show cause why such territory should not be so annexed; and ~ihIEREAS, no protest has been filed; and `,~iF.RF•pS, all proceedings have been in conformity with law; NOVd, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does ordain as follows: Section l: That pursuant to the "Annexation of Uninhabited 'T'erritory Aet of 1939" tkie annexation of that certain uninhabited terri- tory contiguous to the City of Lynwood in the County of Loa Angeles, Sta1 of California, designated as "Bullis Road Annex No. 1N, more particularl; described as follows: Beginning at a point on the westerly prolongation of the southerly line of Tract No. ~532Recordarofap recorded in Book 338, Page 30 of Maps, Loe Angeles County, California, distant thereon 2S said pointrbeing ontthewaoutTierlyiboundary111neRofd~ the City of Lynwood as said boundary existed April 1, 1950; thence westerly along said boundary line and following the same in all its various courses to the pertmaperecorded inrBook 32,9Pagef90roftMapa,3Recorda d of said county; thence easterly along the easterly prolongation of the southerlyRoadeasfshown ontmap2 to the center line if 2Buthence northerly in a direct of said Tract int of7beginning; line to the p hereby is approved.
