AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $ 429240.00 FROM THE LOCAL ROAD &
STREET FUND TO R & S PROJECT #8 - SOUTH 13TH STREET RECONSTRUC-
TION FROM SOUTH "L" TO SOUTH 110" STREETS.
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary emergencies have developed since
the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now
necessary to appropriate more money for the various functions
of the City Government than was appropriated in the annual budget:
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RICHMOND, INDIANA:
SECTION to That for the expenses of the City Government and its
institutions for the year ena,,ing December 31, 1971, the following
amount of money is hereby appropriated and set apart out of the
fund named and for the purpose specified. Said sum being subject:
to all laws governing the same. Such amount appropriated shall
be held to include all expenditures authorized to be made during
the year, unless expressly stipulated by law.
SECTION 2. That for the said fiscal period, there is hereby
appropriated from the Local Road and Street Fund to be used for
R & S #8 c South 13th Street reconstruction from South "L" to
South 110" Streets, the following specified amount to meet the
extraordinary emergency hereby declared to exist.

LOCAL ROAD AND STREET FUND $42,240.00 $42,240.00
These funds are to be appropriated for the following`project.
R & S #8 - South 13th Street deconstruction from South "L"
tc, South "0" Streets. $42,240.00
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval bd the Mayor and is subject to
the laws of the State of Indiana, governing emergency appropriations.
