AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $170,000-00 FROM THE CUMULATIVE
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BUILDING FUND, FOR THE PURCH1ASE OF TCN
(10 ) TRANSIT BUS? S g TO A CITY BUS TRANSIT FUND.
WHEREAS, Resolution No8-1971 established.a City Bus Transit
Fund to provide funds iron monies transferred from the
CmwlativW Capital Improvement Building Fund, to provide funds
for the following purpose:
'to purchase ten (10) Transit Buses;
WHEREAS, there is a need for funds to do all those things necessary
to pirchase ten (10) City Transit Buses;' and
«h'EREAS, certain extraordinary emergencies have developed since
the adoption of the exI sting annual, budget sc, that i is now
necessar to appropriate more money for the various functic"s
of the C ty Government than was approprA.ated in the annual. budget;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COM-40M COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF RICHMOND, INDIANA:
SECTION 1, That for the expenses of the City Goverrrstent and its'
institutions for 'tNe year ending December 31, 1971, the following
amount of money is hereby appropriated and set apart out of the
City Transit Bus fund for the purchase of ten (10) transit buses,
Said sum being subject to all laws governing the same and such
amount appropriated shall be held to include all expenditures '
authorized to.be .made during the year, unless expressly stipulated
by law.
SECTION 2: That for'the said fiscal period, there is hereby
appropprriated .f cm the Lily Dui Ciant5C Fund,fear: the. ptsrc:hasxe %0
ten (10) tra6-sit buses the following specified mount to meet
the extraordinary emergencies hereby declared tc, exist:
