AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A "SPECIAL USE" IN R-2 SINGLE FAMILY
RESIDENCE DISTRICT OF ORDINANCE 'NO. 2325-1968 COMMONLY KNOWN AS
THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, APPROVED
JUNE 3, 1968.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, as follows;
SECTION 1. As provided in Article 22, Section .011 and Article
48 of Ordinance No. 2325�1968 commonly known as the Zoning
Ordinance of the City of Richmond, Indiana, the following described
real estate is allowed,as a Special Use to=wit. To allow petitioner
to enlarge existing facilities by constructing additional home care
for elderly on real-estate located at 1813 South Ninth Street,
Richmond, Indiana, and more particularly described as follows -
A part of the southwest quarter of Section nine (9), Township
thirteen (13), Range one (1) west, in wayne County, Indiana,
more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point
In the east line of South Ninth Street sixty-three and two
tenths (63,,2) rods south and thirty-s:ix (36) feet east of the
northwest corner of the southwest quarter of Section nine (9).
thence east one hundred fifty (150),fe:et; `hence north one
hundred (100) feet parallel with the.:said east line of South
Ninth Street; thence west parallel with the south line of
described_Lat one hundred fifty (150,).feet to the east line
of South Ninth Street; thence southone hundred (100) feet
to the place of beginning, containing -thirty-four hundredths
(0.34) acres, more or less.
AND ALSO, being a part of the southwest quarter of Section dine
(9); Township Thirteen (13), Range One (1), in Wayne County,
State of Indiana, more particularly described as follows:
peginning at a point nine hundred forty-two and eight tenths
(942.8) feet south and one hundred eighty-six (186) feet east
of the northwest corner of the southwest quarter of Section
nine (9); thence south parallel with the west line of said
quarter Section one hundred feet (100); thence east one
hundred fifty (150). feet; thence north parallel with the
said quarter section, one hundred (100) feet; thence west
one hundred fifty (1'50) feet to the place of beginning,
containing thirty-four hundredths (0.34) acres, more or less.
SECTION 2. As a condition of the aforesaid Special Use and as an
additional restriction on said use, the fol,lowing requirements shall
hereafter and at all tides be met by the owner, leasee, or any
person, firm or corporation using such real estate.

SECTION 3, The Zoning Administrator of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
Is hereby authorized and directed, upon enactment and pubiicati6n of
this ordinance, to record and approve the issuance of a permit for
the establishment of the use herein allowed.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval by the Mayor and publication as by
law required.
