The clerk asked the board about the water bills of Ed.Seela
who had moved to Greeley.4fter some discussion the clerk was in-
structed to write him and ask him to pa« at least 4 5.00 per
month on the water bill and if he did not theboard would sue.
J.W. Campbell was to be notified to pay on his bill or his water
would be shut off.
Cordill noved,Molsnder seconded:That the board raise the ealarie
of each of the office force 4 10.00 per mon th. A11 voted aye.
Cordill moved,Frye seconded:That the salaries be raised at oncne.
Motion carried.
The following bills were read by the finance committee and
were approved by the same:

Cordill moved,Tinker seconded:To allow the bills and instruct
the clerk to draw warrant on the Treasurer for the amounts. Motion
carried.
Molander moved, Tinker seconded: To adjourn eubect to the call of
the Mayor. Motion carried.

Regular mee ti ' October 1 1935
The meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M. by Mator Van Buskirk.
Carl,Cordill,Frye ,Tinker and Venable present.Molander absent.
The minutes of the called and regular meetings of Sept.4 were
r e ad and approved as read.
Mr. Ma.i er and Billingsley of Greeley who had placed their appl4-
cations for marshal told the ,board of their qualifications as
officers and then retired._
_ There were the following .applications for marshal in the place
of Mr.Tegtman who had taken a leave of absence, and had not returned;
Frank Lamb,Les ter Hotaling,Roy Sivers Jr. , C.E.Hubbard,E.W.Widmaier,
of Ault,Jaok Greenwait,John Maier and James Billingsley of Greeley.
After some discussion there wa.s _ a ballot taken from which
Widmaier received 4 votes and Lamb 1.
Cordill rnoved,Frye seconded:That the board hire E.W.Widmaier
at 95.00 and C.E.Hu=: bard at 75.00 subject to the will of the
board.All voted aye upon roll call.
There were no letters of importance and were filed.
The following bills were read by the finance committee and approved
