AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE THE SUM OF THIRTY FOUR THOUSAND
DOLLARS ($34,000,00) FROM MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY CASH OPERATING
TO MVH S-28 (4-42-425) STREETS, ALLEYS& CURBS & SIDEWALKS
"MATERIALS" ($28,000.00), MVH S-27 (3�37) OTHER SUPPLIES
'SUPPLIES" ($4,000.00)1,
AND MVH S-22 (3-32-324) OTHER GARAGE
AND MOTOR SUPPLIES "SUPPLIES" ($2,000.00).
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary emergencies have developed since
the adoption of the existing annual budge; so that it is new
necessary to appropriate more money for various functions of the
City Government than was appropriated to the annual budget.
SECTION 1. BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of
Richmond, Indianj, that for the expenses of the City Government
and its institutions for the year ending December 31, 1971, the
following amount of money is hereby appropriated and set apart
out of the fund reamed and for the purpose specified. Said swrn
being subject to all laws governing the same. Such amounts
appropriated shall be held tc, include all expenditures to be
made during the year unless expressly stipulated by law.
SECTION 2. That for the fiscal period, there is hereby appro-
priated the following specified amount to meet the extraordinary
emergency that exists.

SECTION 3. '+i!-iEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing
appropriations now have unobligated balances which will not be
used for purpose which appropriated.
IT IS THEREFORE ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, that such unnecessary existing appropriation
be now reduced in amount as follows: and the sage is appropriated
to the above named item.

SECTION 4.. An extraordinary emergency exists for the above
appropriation.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shad be in full forte and effect from
and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to
the laws of the State of Indiana governing emergency appropriations.
