AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO, 2325-1968 COMMONLY KNOWN AS
THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF T"HE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, ADOPTED
JUNE 3, 1968,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, as follows:
SECTION 1. WHEREAS, the Zoning Map which is a part of Ordinance
No. 2325-1968 designates and describes as R-3 (One to Eight Family
Residential), the following described property located at 3029 East
Main Street, 3031 East Main Street, and 3041 East Main Street, in
the City of Richmond, Indiana, toUa'it:
Being all of Lot #8 in Ravinia Park 1st Addition as deeded
and recorded in miscellaneous records, page 109, of the
Wayne County Plat Records (3029 East Main Street)..
Being all of Lot #9 in the Ravinia Park list Addition as
deeded and Recorded in volume 346, page 458 of the Wayne
County Plat R dcords (3031 East Main Street.)
Being all of Lot #10 in Ravinia Park lst Addition and part.
of Lot #11 in Ravinia Park lst Addition designated as
#11--A and #11-B. All parcels appeasing in this description
are deeded and recorded in volume 290, page 458, of the
Wayne County Plat Records (3041 East Main Street),
SECTION 2. WHEREAS, it is the intent and purpose hereof to change
the zoning classification of the above described area from R,3
to C-2.
SECTION 3. WHEREAS, a study of this Ordinance was conducted by the
Richmond City Plan Commission on the day of
1971, at which time remonstrances wer ear•d from a par es in-
terested in or affected by this Ordinance,
SECTI N 4. WHEREAS, the vote of the Richmond City Plan Commission
was t. inkopposition to) recommending the
adop on o r Inance No. 2551-1971.
NOW THEREFORE:
SECTION 5. It is hereby ordained that the zoning classification of
the above described property be, and the same is hereby changed
to Community Business District and that said property be---gulated
in accordance with the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, and all amendments thereto.
SECTION 6. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and publication as by law required.
SECTION 7. The original zoning classification of the afore men-
tioned areas is hereby rescinded and the zoning classification of
this area will be in accordance with Section 2 of this Ordinance.
