AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRI!+TE THE SUM OF $6,281.34 o EARNINGS FROM
UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT SECURITIES FROM THE 1970 PARK DISTRICT
BOND ISSUE OF $580,000.00 FOR COMPLETING THE CONSTRUCTION OF
HIGHLAND LAKE GOLF COURSE.
WHEREAS, there is a need for funds to do those things necessary
to complete the Highland Lake Golf Course, -and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON .COUNCII. OF THE CITY
OF RICHMOND, IN:DIANA:
SECTION 1, That fcr the expenses of the City Government and its
institutions f ov the year ending December 31,, 1971, the following
amount of money is hereby appropriated and set apart out of the
Earnings from United States Government Securities from the 1970
Park District Bond Issue of $580,000o00 for completion of the
Highland Lake Golf Course. Said sum being subject to all laws
governing the same and.such amount appropriated shall be held to
Include all expenditures authorized to be made during the year,
unless expressly stipulated by law.
SECTION 2e That for the said fiscal period, ',there is hereby
appropriated fsorn United States Government Securities from the
1970 Park District Bond Issue of $580,000.00., for° completion of
the Highland.Lake Golf Course, the following• specified amount
to meet.the extraordinary emergencies hereby'.declared to exist:'
