AN ORDINANCE TO APPRODRIATE THE SUM OF ONE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED
DOLLARS ($1,400.00) FROM PARKS AND RECREATION CASH OPERATING
BALANCE TO P.41 WATER (2-22-224) "SERVICES CONTRACTUAL", AND :TH:E
SUM OF ONE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS ($3,600.00) FROM PARKS -
AND RECREATION CASH OPERATING BALANCE TO.. P-32.GASOLINE (3-32-321)
"SUPPLIES"•
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary emergencies h`.ave developed since'`
the adoption of the O>a-.sting annual budget so that it is now
necessary to appropr,vate more money for varfcos functions of the
City Government than was appropriated t.; the.annual budget.
SECTION 1. BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Cuunci,l of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, that for the expenses of the City Government
and its institutions fur the year ending December 31, 197.1, the
following amount of money is hereby appropriated and set apart
out of the fund named and for the purpose ;stieecffied. Said sum
being subject to a.13 Taws governing the .s;ame Such amounts
appropriated :shalkl be held to include all ex-pendftures- to be
made during tfte year- unless expressly stipua-ated by law.

SECTION 3. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing '
appropriations now have unobli ated balances which will not be s`
used for purpose which appropriated.
BF IS THEREFORE ORDAINED by the Common Council of the Cityy of {
Richmond, Indiana, that such unnecessary existing appropriation
be now reduced in amount as ffol6o4s, and the same is appropriated
to the above named item.
REQUESTED REDUCTION
PARKS & RECREATION CASH OPERATING
BALANCE $3,000.00
SECTION 4. An extraordinary amrgency exists for the above
appropriation.
SECTION 5• This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from --
and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to
the laws of the State of Indiana governing emergency appropriations.
